Ma. Linda Escandón, born in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico, December 25, 1964. She was admitted to the bar in 1988, Universidad Autonoma de Baja California, and joined the Firm in 1991.
Ms. Escandon acted as Officer for the State of Baja California Labor Board 1988-1991. She has been designated (c. 1991) as an Official Translator of the English language by the [Baja California] Supreme Court.
She is a member of the Mexican Labor Law Academy and became a Senior Member in 2001. In 1995 obtained Real State Law Certification from the Institute of Legal Investigations for the National University of Mexico (UNAM).
Member of the National Association of Corporate Attorneys (1992) and acted as President of the Baja California Chapter from 1998-2000.
She attended PIL at Harvard Law School in 1994 and participated as coauthor of the Mexican Labor Law’s Chapter on "Mexican Law: A Treatise for Legal Practitioners and International Investors" sponsored by the University of San Diego, CA for her work in the area of employment and labor.
Member of USMBA since 2011.

Practice Areas
Ms. Escandón specializes primarily in employment-related litigation; Immigration; and corporate counseling.
She is regularly involved in structuring labor and employment models, including the hiring and termination of domestic, international, and cross border employment for industrial, commercial, and a range of commercial concerns (Resorts, Supermarkets, Nation-wide Distributors and other employers); as well as developing resolution strategies arising from foreign and national investment concerns.
